Cafe Au Lait Mini (Jolene) Dahlia Tuber

Jolene is also known as Cafe Au Lait Mini. It's likely a sport (mutant) of CAL with a bloom about 1 inch smaller than the original. Unfortunately this variety is not heat resistant and is somewhat finicky to grow. High heat will cause short plants and blown centers. Jolene tends to blow the centers open towards the end of the season as well. First blooms are often pinkish, sometimes with faint pink streaks, with the later blooms reverting to the classic coffee-and-cream color.
